see that the walls at the top have been changed so I'll take a shot at
them.
w00tazn I like the effect that you are
trying to achieve in the background with the black lines. There are two things
that are bugging me though. The first is the character seems poorly extracted.
There are some white remenants from the orignal scan in some areas around the
character. Most of it seems to be near the upper body though. Another thing is
that I see is that the character iamge is discontinued at one point on the left
side and resumed right after. Hm...after taking a look at your gallery, I'm
begining to wonder if the 'flaws' I just mentioned are intentional...
Sorry for the delay in the contest. I have not been able to keep in contact with
Andulien although he did give me his ratings for each wall and I have not been
able to contact Einna at all...
He's a really amazing artist so check out the rest of his gallery. It'll
definatly be worth your time.

Try using the 'Burn' tool to shade.

Minato-your second wall's background
looks a bit too realistic for the anime character so it doesn't fit. I think if
you continued on the grunge in the sky, it would look a lot better.
Neko- The sky is a bit plain and the
clouds are a bit too fluffy. If you add in a break in the clouds, then it might
help make it look more believable. Also, the bottom of the cloud is a bit
empty.
Aa-chan-It's already posted? anyways, I
like the effect but the right seems somewhat empty even with the text.

Also, try to bring out the scan more so it doesn't just look like part of a
wall. Currently, it would make a nice background for another wall but i don't

aibuster- I like the 'sin city' effect
where the eye is the only thing coloured but to my knowledge, the eye is not
that important. It's more like the entire mech that is important. Also, the sky
is a bit empty. The realsitic scanlines are great though and they add nicely to
the tech/futuristic effect.
